Anaconda Copper Mine Site ACMS is an abandoned copper mine in the proces of being cleaned up and moved into mine closure. The ACMS was abandoned by Atlantic Richfield Co. ARCO 1982 that left behind such toxic substances at the site including chromium, lead, mercury, uranium, thorium, and radium thave contaminated the local groundwater, surface water soil and air leaving tribal members and stakeholders exposed to them.
